Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist because sites load trackers that need consent. We do not load any. The cookie we set is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, which is a free daily allowance that survives you closing the tab. That category does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, and pretending otherwise with a banner would be theatre.

What we set

NameTypeLifeWhat it does
f100_vidCookie1 yearA random identifier, signed so it cannot be forged, and readable only by the server. It is how tomorrow’s hundred knows it is yours. It holds no name, email, or address.
f100_echoLocal storageUntil clearedA copy of the same signed identifier. If your cookies are cleared but your storage survives, your allowance comes back with it rather than resetting.
__Host-f100_sessCookie30 daysSet only if you create an account. It is how the site knows the leads it is showing you are yours. Readable only by the server, and only sent back to this exact domain over HTTPS.
f100-langLocal storageUntil clearedThe language you picked, so the site opens in it next time.
f100-themeLocal storageUntil clearedLight or dark, applied before the first paint so the page does not flash.

What Cloudflare sets

Cloudflare sits in front of the site to absorb attacks and filter bots. It sets its own cookies, typically __cf_bm for bot management and cf_clearance if you are shown a challenge. These are security cookies, they are not ours to remove, and Cloudflare documents them publicly.

The browser fingerprint

We also compute a short hash from your browser configuration, things like screen size, timezone, and how your device renders a test image. It is calculated fresh on each visit and used only to make the daily limit harder to bypass by clearing cookies. It is not stored on your device, and it is not detailed enough to identify you as a person.

We are telling you about it because a fingerprint is the sort of thing that belongs in a cookie notice even though it is not technically a cookie.

Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or clear cookies and site storage. Nothing here will break the site if you do. You will simply be treated as a new visitor, which means a fresh hundred and a fresh wheel, and there is no penalty for it.
